My Birthday “Hostess” Class
I decided that for my class this month we would do birthday cards for the Tweens/Kids and I am so happy with the way these turned out. I am hoping that they like them as much as I do.
The 1st card was inspired by Tami White, but I added some color to it and tried to make it mine other than the Frost White shimmer paints.

This card used the Exteme Elements background stamps along with the Extreme Snowboarder. My card base is Bermuda Bay, layered on Whisper White and then Basic Black. On the basic black, I used the Encore Silver to make the background. Then I embossed the Snowboarder on Basic Black w/ Black embossing powder. Taking a dauber I went into the cap of the Frost White paint and rubbed it all around the image. Then I took a tissue and whipped off the extra paint. I layered this onto Brushed Silver, added silver brads and the stars. I then put this on dimensionals and there you have it. I think any boy would love this card. I know my son thought it was pretty cool.

Now for the girls card I used the Pretty Pony set and the Razzleberry DSP. I started with the Melon Mambo base and added a small piece of the DSP down the side. To add a little more pizzaz to it, I used my versamark pad and put the small stamps all over the MM piece. I really like the way that turned out. I then used the Crushed Curry polka dot ribbon and tied a small bow around the DSP. For the horse, I used the Rich Razzleberry cardstock for the base and then layered it with the whisper white. I stamped the horse on with Black Stazon due to coloring. I colored the hair with the markers and then added some shimmer to the wings and hair with the gorgeous dazzling diamonds. I added dimensionals to that center piece. For the saying I used the word window punch and then the Fancy Label Punch.
