Do you give 101%???

101% From a strictly mathematical viewpoint:
What Equals 100%?
What does it mean to give MORE than 100%?
Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%?
We have all been in situations where someone wants you to GIVE OVER 100%. How about ACHIEVING 101%? What equals 100% in life?
Here’s a little mathematical formula that might help answer these questions:
If: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z
Is represented as: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26.
If:
H-A-R-D-W-O-R- K
8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%

And:
K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E
11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96%

But:
A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E
1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%

THEN, look how far the love of God will take you:
L-O-V-E-O-F-G-O-D
12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4 = 101%

Therefore, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that: While Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, It’s the Love of God that will put you over the top!

Lord Make me an Instrument Of your Peace!!

A dear friend just sent this to me and I had to share this as my prayer for all of us today and everyday!! ~ Heidi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace!
Where there is hatred, let me bring love;
Where there is injury, let me bring forgiveness;
Where there is discord, let me bring harmony;
Where there is falsehood, let me bring truth;
Where there is doubt, let me bring faith;
Where there is despair, let me bring hope;
Where there is darkness, let me bring light;
Where there is sadness, let me bring joy.

LORD, grant that I may not seek so much
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
Because it is in giving that we receive,
It is in forgetting ourselves that we find others,
It is in forgiving that we are forgiven,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life Amen…

How about some Sunday inspiration…….

I think every Sunday, from here on out, I am going to post something of church or God inspiring here since it is the day of church, worship and rest!! So here goes the 1st one….

OUR PRECIOUS CELL PHONE vs. THE PRECIOUS BIBLE
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cellphone?
What if … we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if … we flipped through it several time a day?
What if … we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if … we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if … we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?
What if … we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if … we used it when we traveled?
What if … we used it in case of emergency?
Is this is something that makes you go….hmm…where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing …
Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected,
because Jesus already paid the bill.
And hey, guess what, NO dropped calls from your bible either!!
I hope this makes you stop and think “where are my priorities?
It did me!! :)

Somewhere in these passages is you and me… giving excuses. But God has a postive answer for you. Find your excuse and see what He says.
