DCBD LAST Big Shot Challenge #138
Hello stampers:
I am running a little late today on posting. I had a somewhat bad night last night and hubby got called into work and I completely was bummin’ due to that. The poor man finally had one day of regular work and then got called back to work at 7pm and didn’t get home until midnight. Bless his heart he worked all last week 12 hr days + including the entire weekend. Ya, the money will be awesome but my honey means more and plus he was getting a little cranky and the entire family (kids especially) were having Daddy withdrawals.
Anyways, this is the sketch for this week. Use any current Stampin Up ONLY BIG SHOT supplies. From dies, to embossing texture plates to the dry embossing folders. You can make a card or a 3D project. Its free for all day!! When you are done, go to the Diva blog and post your picture on Mr Linkey.

Christmas Cards Day 2
Ok here we are on day 2 of Christmas card stamping. This has got to be one of my favorite stamp sets and I hope (are you listening SU?) that they don’t retire this one for a long time. It is called Snow Swirled and it is one of those stamps that is so easy, yet you can make it such an elegant card also, by adding a little embossing or whatever you choose. Our theme was easy cards, so we just stamped this one.
This card I used the new 5/8″ Satin Whisper White Ribbon on and the one above we used the
Organza Ribbon on to give them 2 different looks.
Recipe:
Stamps:
- Snow Swirled
Ink:
- Real Red
Cardstock:
- Whisper White
- Old Olive
- Snow Burst DSP (retired)
Accessories:
- Scalloped Oval Punch
- 1 3/4″ Oval Punch
- Organza Ribbon
- 5/8″ Satin Ribbon
- Dimensionals
I hope you enjoyed day 2 cards and will come back tomorrow to see what else we stamped up for you!
Hugs

DCBD Sketch Challenge #133
Its Diva Sketch Week and also my new Blog. Julie and I have been working on getting this thing up and running all weekend and its finally visable for gals to come visit. I love the new colors. If you don’t know already, I used the new Stampin Up IN COLORS. I love them already!!! Especially the Razzleberry …… and I am not a purple person at all.
This sketch is so fun and so easy, I hope to see at least 25 + players this week. I couldn’t resist using my Just Buzzin By stamp set for this. It was calling this sketches name. I know I will be doing a couple more with this sketch.
So are you going to play along with us??? We would love to comment on your blogs when we see you upload your posts to Mr Linky on the DIVA blog. Go on over and see what the rest of the Divas are doing. They work really hard to make up some really nice cards for you to see.
Recipe:
Stamps: Just Buzzin By
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Summer Sun, Sunshine Garden DSP
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red, Summer Sun, More Mustard
Accessories: Scallop Square Punch, 1 1/4″ square punch, White Signo gel pen, Red Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals
Have a wonderful week.

Christmas Punchy Tree
This card is so fun and shows the versatility of our punches. To make this tree all you need is the Corner Punch. If you need this punch and do not have it, email me and I will be happy to order it for you. This is a horrible picture of the color on this card, so I will be updating another one today at some time.
I hope you enjoy the card as much as I do and now on to the Christmas cards that I have been wanting to make for some time now.
Enjoy:
Ladybug… Ladybug
Here is a super cute card that we made at our church on Friday night. We (the stampin’ gals of Grace Church) have a stampin night, once a month, for 3 hrs and the kids get to play with their friends in another room while we play.
Personally I think we need more of these than just one….
Lee, came up with this super cute Ladybug pocket card, made from the new Pick a Petal stamp set. I finally got to see the new IN COLORS and this is made with Groovy Guava & Purely Pomegranate. Love Love Love the Groovy Guava!!
That silly mouse ……
