Recipe * Instructions for Candy Bar / Christmas Fudge

Supplies:Desgner paper, coordinating solid color card stock, 1/4″ ribbon, 3/16″ circle punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, Scalloped punch, 3/16″ corner rounder, scorer of your choice, adhesive, velumn or paper of choice for saying.

1st I started out by cutting 6″ x 7″ pieces of paper. Score them at 1 1/2″, 1 3/4, 4, & 4 1/4. Fold paper at score lines. Towards the bottom of the paper, score in the middle of your scored stripes in the middle about 1″ from the bottom. This way you can fold in the paper so it is flat at the bottom.
Now take your paper crimper and crimp the very bottom of your wrapper approx 1″. Punch a 1 1/4″ half circle out of the top of the paper. (Both front and back) Set aside.

Get your candy bar…. set aside for a minute.
Punch out a piece of cardstock with your 1 1/4″ circle punch. Fold it in half. Place this on the top of the candy bar with adhesive. Punch a 3/16″ circle hold at the top of the circle in the center. Pull through a 3″ piece of ribbon of your choice and tie.
Now place your candy bar inside of your wrapper. Place adhesive along the bottom and back edge of your wrapper and glue together.
For the front card: I used the same piece of designer paper and cut it at 4 1/2″ x 3″. I scored it at 2 1/4″ and then used the 3/16″ corner rounder on the outside edges on the right. I left the left side square. Punch out a scalloped circle out of the same cardstock that you used for the candy bar tab. Put in the middle of the card. Stamp a saying on a piece of cardstock that will fit inside of the 1 3/8″ circle punch. Punch that out and put in the center.
Now go to your printer and print out this saying:

Dashing from the malls
With groceries yet to buy,
Classes, work & housekeeping,
Life’s so crazy! Why?
Bells on our telephone ring,
The machine will take the call,
We have no time for family or friends,
It drives us up the wall.
How are you? How’s your life?
We really want to know.
Hope you’re ready for Christmas,
Now maybe it will snow. Ha Ha.
A day or two ago,
I thought I’d make a treat,
For all my special friends–
A Christmas Gift to eat!
My intentions were top notch,
But my schedule would not budge,
Hence, here is this year’s version
of homemade
CHRISTMAS FUDGE!

I made this fit into the card by resizing, and resizing it. I then cut the saying in half and used the corner rounder on the vellum pieces. I then used VELLUMN adhesive… make sure you use this or stickers… something other than regular adhesive or it will show through.
Walla now you are done and I would love to see your pictures!!
