A Box of Goodies

I made this super sweet box today filled with a bunch of handmade stationery goodies. I got the inspiration from the talented Krista Vissen-Driessen who gave me the directions on how to make this cute box.

This is all that is in the box.
This thing holds alot of stuff, I was actually shocked once I put it all in.

Here is the cutie patootie box empty.

This is the outside detail. I used the scallop punch around the sides. I also added some ribbon around the edges to meet them together.

This is a post it note holder (which I used my bind it all on) a mini gel pen, and a paper clip.

This is the mini composition book that I covered and also the 3 1/4″ note card and matching envie that I added to the set.
I had alot of fun making this set and now that I am a pro with no mistakes, will make some with my Stampin Up paper tomorrow. Check back to see some more.
Blessings,
Heidi

From Blah to Oh so cute!!

These cute little note pads w/ matching pens were a find at Michael’s for 50 cents. They had the Build a Bear pictures on them and I covered them with some miscellaneous designer paper that I had laying around hoping to make them “kiddo friendly” , I think I accomplished just that with the little sticker SMILEY face in the middle.

I have about 4 more of these to fininsh accessorizing and I will be pretty much caught up with things to take with me.

I made some post it note, coaster chipboard holders, with matching pens and clips on the top. They turned out very cute also.

My next item to work on is going to be Bella Candles so be watching for those.

Enjoy and have a great week!!

Large Paperclips anyone???

Boy are these fun to make!! I made all of these yesterday in one sitting. They all took about 1 1/2 hrs to make and I think these should be enough for one show.

I used 5 different Stampin Up stamp sets including my favorite newly retired Tart N Tangy. I refuse to put this stamp set to the side.

Some of you may not know how to make these so I decided to do a very, very simple tutorial on them. So here goes.
Supplies You will need:
Pop Up Glue Dots (The large ones), Jumbo Paperclips (Wal-Mart $1) , Ribbon,
and punches : SU Scallop Punch, 1 3/8″ & 1 1/4″ Circle Punches (Not pictured)
Start by punching out 2 scallops, 2 – 1 3/8″ circles, & 1 1/4″ stamped image
or designer paper circle. Glue the 1 3/8″ circles onto the scallops. Glue on the 1 1/4″ circle and decorate according to your liking.
Take 1 pop up glue dot and cut it in 1/2. Put the glue dots onto the scallop as shown below.
Now place the Jumbo paper clip onto the 2 Pop Up glue dots
and “mush” them into the dots.

Now place the front scallop onto the dots and push together with fingers.
Tie a coordinating piece of ribbon onto the clip and tie a knot. Cut ends.
Now lets see if you can do them!! Have fun!! ~ Heidi

2009 Calendars w/ stands

I am still working on my craft projects. Chris found these calendars w/ matching TO DO lists at Michael’s for $1. We are making 2 crafts from this one item.

I used the 4×4 medium chipboard and attached the calendar to it with glue dots. The very large clip has also been altered w/ matching design paper on it.

Very nice, yet simple project for your craft events.

Thanks for stopping by,

Heidi

Getting ready for a craft event…..

My dear friend, Chris and I are getting ready for a local craft fair at the end of the month and although it is approaching very quickly, I have NOTHING to sell. So yesterday, I decided to get my bootie in gear and start making some things to sell. I am thinking the Bellas are going to be a huge hit so I have decided to make some note pads and I am thinking of doing some candles also. We will see what I get done. Hee hee.

This is Daintybella and she is just so cute!! I love the prissy-ness of her as she is holding her beautious flower basket.
I hope you like her. I used my prisma color pencils and odorless mineral spirits to color her in. I will not be using any of my SU supplies for this event as I do not want to “waste” them, and trust me, I have TONS of miscellaneous paper to use up.

Hugs

Heidi

Snowman B B Games….

… how cute are these???? I made several of these for little stocking stuffers. Dalton, my oldest son, helped me color them. I had to go to Dick’s sporting goods to get the B B’s and felt so silly. I told the guy I was crafting with the B B’s and he laughed. Its a no wonder why I never go in that store. Everything sports…. YUCK!!!
But I did think these were very cute and easy to make. Again, I used the wedding favor tins and still have more!! What else can I make??

Enjoy!!

Another craft fair item…..

I made these cute as pie SNOWFLAKE ornaments out of those wedding favors that you can get at Michael’s. I have had these sitting around FOREVER and finally decided to do something with them. I used my Cricuit to cut out the big snowflakes on chipboard and then covered them in night of navy. I put in buffalo snow and some sparkle glitter to add some bling to it.
Enjoy!!

Christmas Fudge oh MY!!

Christmas Fudge…………. (Click on the picture so you really can see the sparkle on these!!)

These little beauties are what I have been working on today to get ready for a craft event that my friend & sponsor, Lee, are doing this coming weekend. I have heard through many postings of the different groups I am on that this is a big hit at events. So I am trying my best to make these appealing to the eye. I decided to put the small card made of cardstock on the front of the wrapper because with the vellum already printed, and finding out too late that you couldn’t read the writing too well. So hence the cute little cards on the front. These I must say have been fun, I probably have put too much work into them but I am determined to not come home with ANY…. :)

Enjoy and until tomorrow.

The lighting turned out horrible on these 2 pictures but I wanted to post tonight so you could see what I was up to…..

Mmmmm Chocolate!!! I want to eat one so bad…. LOL
