Large Paperclips anyone???

Boy are these fun to make!! I made all of these yesterday in one sitting. They all took about 1 1/2 hrs to make and I think these should be enough for one show.

I used 5 different Stampin Up stamp sets including my favorite newly retired Tart N Tangy. I refuse to put this stamp set to the side.

Some of you may not know how to make these so I decided to do a very, very simple tutorial on them. So here goes.
Supplies You will need:
Pop Up Glue Dots (The large ones), Jumbo Paperclips (Wal-Mart $1) , Ribbon,
and punches : SU Scallop Punch, 1 3/8″ & 1 1/4″ Circle Punches (Not pictured)
Start by punching out 2 scallops, 2 – 1 3/8″ circles, & 1 1/4″ stamped image
or designer paper circle. Glue the 1 3/8″ circles onto the scallops. Glue on the 1 1/4″ circle and decorate according to your liking.
Take 1 pop up glue dot and cut it in 1/2. Put the glue dots onto the scallop as shown below.
Now place the Jumbo paper clip onto the 2 Pop Up glue dots
and “mush” them into the dots.

Now place the front scallop onto the dots and push together with fingers.
Tie a coordinating piece of ribbon onto the clip and tie a knot. Cut ends.
Now lets see if you can do them!! Have fun!! ~ Heidi

2009 Calendars w/ stands

I am still working on my craft projects. Chris found these calendars w/ matching TO DO lists at Michael’s for $1. We are making 2 crafts from this one item.

I used the 4×4 medium chipboard and attached the calendar to it with glue dots. The very large clip has also been altered w/ matching design paper on it.

Very nice, yet simple project for your craft events.

Thanks for stopping by,

Heidi

Ginormous Paperclips…..

……. turned to bookmarks. I have wanted to make these for some time now and FINALLY made 2 for my STAMPOHIO friends to enjoy. I have 2 gals that I had to send to for a Star of the Month swap I am in and I thought they would enjoy these.
OF COURSE they are in Pink and Brown, my favs. These are so easy to make !!
To my friends that have been checking my blog, I AM BACK AND hope to be posting daily again!!
Enjoy!!

Christmas Fudge oh MY!!

Christmas Fudge…………. (Click on the picture so you really can see the sparkle on these!!)

These little beauties are what I have been working on today to get ready for a craft event that my friend & sponsor, Lee, are doing this coming weekend. I have heard through many postings of the different groups I am on that this is a big hit at events. So I am trying my best to make these appealing to the eye. I decided to put the small card made of cardstock on the front of the wrapper because with the vellum already printed, and finding out too late that you couldn’t read the writing too well. So hence the cute little cards on the front. These I must say have been fun, I probably have put too much work into them but I am determined to not come home with ANY…. :)

Enjoy and until tomorrow.

The lighting turned out horrible on these 2 pictures but I wanted to post tonight so you could see what I was up to…..

Mmmmm Chocolate!!! I want to eat one so bad…. LOL

Altered Prizes for Workshop

Well these were alot of fun to make and I cannot wait to make some more for this weekends 2nd OPEN HOUSE/ WORLD CARD MAKING DAY Show. They will be different but I thought I would show off my work… Hee hee.

The 1st went to Lee, my upline, and its with the Dashing Designer paper. It is an altered 4×4 notebook and an RSVP Pen.
The 2nd went to my mom, which is an altoid tin, designed with the Creepy Crawly Designer paper & stamp set. Inside were 6 glass magnets with the 6 designs from the Creepy Crawly set. I painted the tin black to match the theme.

The 3rd went to Jann, and she won the altered tin with Wrapped Hershey’s Nuggets. The paper is Apple Cider and I also painted the tin.

ENJOY Ladies!!
