Bellas On Candles????

As I promised here is the super long tutorial on how to make my
BELLA Candle w\ Tealight on top.
I hope that this makes sense as this is my 1st tutorial. Have fun and share your creations, please!! I want my friends and family to use these for months to come, so hence my creation of the tealight on top. Also,,,, most white candles don’t have a scent, and now your tealight can produce scent along with prettiness. Thanks for looking!
Step 1: Get your BLACK STAZON & Your Bella of choice ready on your block.
Step 2 : Stamp your bella on white tissue paper.

Step 3 : Color in your bella with markers of choice.

Step 4 : Trim around your Bella, taking off the excess tissue paper.

Step 5: Get out your parchment paper. (Some people prefer wax paper, but I like this better.
Place cut out Bella on candle.

Step 6: Get out your heating tool to set the Bella on the candle.

Step 7: Wrap parchment paper around the candle and heat very slowly. Keep the heating tool

approx 1-2″ away, and keep moving it … DO NOT KEEP IT IN ONE SPOT.
Once you see the Bella “pop” through… the color will get brighter, stop heating that area.

This is the finished look
(front & back of the candle)
when the images
correctly placed on
the candle.

If you have any melting,
you have heated the spot
too long. You can rub them
smoothe with a pantyhose.

Step 8 : Get out your brads for some BLING. These are larger brads with long tips so I
had to cut them shorter. Push them into the centers of your flowers or wherever you
want to put them.

Step 9 : Add some pretty ribbon with adhesive of your choice.
(I prefer glue dots. They hold great!)

This is your candle with
all embellishments completed

NOW FOR THE FUN!!

Step 10: Go to your local hardware store and get a 1 3/8″ milling bit. Cut off the wick and drill

a hole the size of your tealight. Make sure you have someone else hold the candle while you drill. If you don’t and try to do this on your own, you will be sorry. The candle will spin and I would hate to see you hurt yourself. :( Also, DO NOT USE a metal tealight holder, as it will melt your candle. I use the clear plastic tealight holders. Pick the color and scent of your choice and CONGRATULATIONS Your Bella Candle is DONE!!
Now show us yours!!

My Candle Creation…..

……. was a hit on Splitcoast when I posted it, so I will feature it here also.

While at a SU Christmas party last year, I was presented with these super cool candles. BUT… I had a HUGE problem with burning the image away, along with destroying the hard work that someone put into the candle. So after thinking on this for a while I came up with these candles.

Do you see the tealight in the top? That is all MY idea!! I will do a tutorial on this tonight as I am feeling the need to do one for a friend.

Be checking back for the details. Enjoy!
