Yes, my hubby stole my heart almost 19 years ago, and he still has it.  Our anniversary is next month and this card reminded me of him while I was missing him at work today. I have been house ridden pretty much due to a messed up back and to even get this card done was a real task. So I hope that this card inspires you to create today no matter what the circumstance. So heres my card.

This challenge was one that made me think alot. Alot more than I really wanted to on how to position these colors. So because I couldn’t get it with these 4 beautiful colors I decided to add a piece of cardstock vellum and emboss it with our new embossing Polka Dots folder to lighten up the colors a little. You like?????

I am a little late on this one but I wanted to show you that I did make a card for this challenge but forgot to post it to my blog. I think the percocet is taking over a little.

I made this card for my sons birthday which  is coming up in February. He is into skateboards and guitars now that hes in his 2nd year of Middle School. Ayyy what will be next??

Personally…I LOVE the I {Heart} Hearts set.  Those of you who have already attended events or will be attending events this month (and next) are getting to see and use this set.  I really do {Heart} it!  If you didn’t catch this in the Occasions mini…you have a choice now between regular wood mount and the new clear mount.  The clear mount is still our same GREAT rubber stamps only set up to mount on acrylic blocks.  It comes in a GREAT storage case to keep everything organized.

Hello stampers and HAPPY NEW YEAR and a New Sketch!! I always have such a hard time with the sketches coming up with something just right and this time I think I got it right on the nose. I really am gonna boast and say I love this card!! I am gonna give it to my hubby just because I love him so much and he’s really been working hard lately and alot of overtime, so time together in the past couple of days has not been that much. I hope he likes it.

Along with new sketches, new year, we have NEW clear mount stamps!! You gals are gonna love these and if you haven’t tired them yet, you need to!! They are the best!! I cannot get enough of these. Hello fellow stampaholics!!! Its Wednesday again and time for a great sketch that really can be a mind teaser. And tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Where has this year went? I know that even though I am so NOT ready for these holidays yet, I am VERY ready for 2009 to be over with!! My family has endoured so much stuff this year that I am ready for a fresh start and a NEW YEAR!! My son just sprained his ankle this past Saturday at a birthday party. So if after all you have read about me and my sickness, I now have to deal with him!! Yikes.

Here is the challenge for this week:

I had a little bit of trouble getting my colors to work because I was determined to use DASHER and also the PETALS A PLENTY dry embossing folder. Plus in using DASHER I had to turn the sketch on its side. I had no idea how I was going to make this work but guess what, you see, I think I did pretty good. What do you think?

I absolutely love it and wouldn’t change a thing about it. I added the shimmer mist in Champagne again, I am so addicted to the spray. I just think it gives it that ZING that Christmas always has!!
